Lauren Broughton

As a child I loved to draw those around me and the places I went. It has always been a passion but growing up as a shy and serious person, I never dreamed it possible to become an artist nor dared share my love of art with others.

In 2018, shortly after the birth of my first child Adeline, my love for art grew. Now a stay at home mum I saw my opportunity to expand my knowledge and skills in hopes of sharing my art with others.

Over the next eighteen months, I experimented with many mediums, techniques and subjects until I discovered my own style and preferred mediums. 

By October 2019 I had honed my skills and fell in love with watercolour.  I also took an unexpected path into commission work. I have never looked back since.

Commission work brings me so much joy. It gives me great satisfaction that after putting much time and love into creating these personal pieces of art, they will be cherished for years to come​.

Like all artists, I love to express my self through art so I will always continue creating originals works that show where my passion lies.
